Recognised as one of NZ’s most infl uential and long-lasting senior sires of recent times. He has over 450 progeny in 21 herds in both NZ and Australia and is a trait leader for the important fertility EBV of short days to caving at -9.1 days. Traditional NZ Angus hill country type with proven industry leading fertility. His grandson Meadowslea Mountain Man was the highest selling 2-year-old bull in NZ in 2020 and sons and grandsons have sold for up to $92,000 at studs across the country. His daughters and grandaughters are the top breeding females in our herd and are proving exceptionally fertile and productive in our hill country, resulting in him now achieving a self-replacing index in the top 10% for the breed. He has a major infl uence in this sale including the last of his 10-year-old daughters on offer, and his bloodlines are behind almost all the females catalogued.
